We are now seeking to employ Supervisors who will be responsible for the safety, welfare, training and supervision of Green Army participants.
For success in this role you will need:
- knowledge and experience in the application of Workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures
- sound knowledge of bush regeneration practices and terrestrial conservation activities
- excellent people management and training skills
- good organisational skills and the ability to complete simple reports in a timely manner
Project details: Multiple Green Army projects across the Penrith area, all commencing in May 2017. Further details will be provided at the interview stage.
A full Driver’s licence, Senior or Level II First Aid and a Defensive Driving certificate, Working with Children and Vulnerable People Check are essential. Where necessary, Conservation Volunteers will provide training to Level 3 standard in an OH&S subject. A Criminal Record Check will also be part of the pre-employment process which Conservation Volunteers will conduct.
