Connecting for conservation in Cobbitty – Property walk and talk
June 5 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pmFree
Do you want to discover the plants and animals which live in the Cobbitty Hills and surrounds? Would you like to connect with likeminded landholders and learn more about your local environment?
Join Cobbitty locals on World Environment Day to learn about the plants and animals of the region. Find out why the bushland of the Cobbitty Hills area is so special and what you can do on your property to help protect it.
This introductory event will help landholders identify what’s on their land, learn how to care for native vegetation and provide a home for native wildlife. Attendees will also have an opportunity to network with other landholders and Landcare representatives, with the potential for creating a new Landcare group in the area.
Numbers are limited, bookings are essential.
When: Saturday 5 March, 2021 10am – 2pm (lunch and morning tea provided)
Where: Cobbitty – address will be provided after booking
