Wildlife friendly property walk and talk for Wedderburn residents

July 9 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Tour of a wildlife friendly property in Wedderburn and learn about local plant species and opportunities for conservation on your land…

Are you a resident of Wedderburn and would like to see a great example of a wildlife friendly property nearby, and learn more about local plant species? This event may be the event for you…

Focussing on the Koala, we will be guided through a lovely Wedderburn property that offers itself over to the conservation of wildlife. A Campbelltown Council Officer will be there to help you identify native plants local to the Wedderburn area.

Following the walk and talk, we will reconvene for a nice networking brunch – and then hear from Landcare, Campbelltown Council, Land for Wildlife, the Biodiversity Conservation Trust, Department of Planning and Environment and a local Fox Control campaigner.

Each of these organisations will outline what they do in the local area, and any support that is available for you if you have a parcel of land in Wedderburn. There is advice and financial help for those interested.

Campbelltown Council will be handing out free Koala trees.

And, we will also hear from the Department of Planning and Environment about the many great things that are happening in Sydney’s south west on the Koala.

The address for this event will be available to you once you have registered for this event. Numbers are capped, so get in fast.
