CALLING ALL LANDHOLDERS WITH WESTERN SYDNEY DRY RAINFOREST ON THEIR LAND!

10am – 3pm Saturday 14th October
Kurrajong Community Centre – McMahons Park
30 McMahons Park Road, 2758 Kurrajong, Australia

This is a gathering of all those people interested in the Hawkesbury’s rainforest environments, including Western Sydney Dry Rainforest, Moist Shale Woodland and Blue Mountains Shale Cap Forest.

Landholders, land managers, bush regenerators with experience working in these environments and anyone else interested in the communities are invited to talk about the lessons learnt over the years, in restoring these rare and beautiful environments.

A FREE booklet on Native Flora of the Cumberland Plain (including Western Sydney Dry Rainforest), by Teresa James will be available to each participant! This is valued at $35!

What condition are they in now? Do landholders need support in managing their rainforest? How can we all work together to help in their preservation?

A field visit will be part of the day (after lunch).

This is a fully catered event.

RSVP by Thursday October 12th to Xuela Sledge email: xuela.sledge@greatersydneylandcare.org or 0410 616 139

This event is part of the Cumberland Plain Landcare Program, coordinated by the Greater Sydney Landcare Network. It is made possible with the support of the Greater Sydney Local Land Services and financial assistance from the Federal Government.
