Hosted over the weekend of the 16-18th of March 2018 at Lane Cove National Park in collaboration with Intrepid Landcare, NPWS, and Willoughby Council.
It was a weekend full of cultural immersion and appreciation thanks to Jess Sinnot from Koori Kinnections, and outdoor adventure, hiking, camping, rowing, and bush regen. Matt Springall from NPWS lead the group through VIP tours on plant ID and the history of Lane Cove. The group walked away with new connections and inspiring stories. They have a set of local projects they are keen to deliver using the project planning and leadership skills they developed over the weekend.
Fifteen local young people participated, launching the start of a new network of leaders. Welcome North Sydney Intrepid Landcare.
