Second Round of Community Landcare Grants

Greater Sydney Local Land Services is pleased to announce its second round of Community Landcare Grants.

Grants of $5,000 – $30,000, through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Programme,  will be provided to community groups and individuals for projects that meet at least one of the programme objectives listed below. Funds can be spent over an 18-month period. Successful applicants will need to enter into Agreements with Greater Sydney Local Land Services by December 2015 with all funded projects completed by June 2017.

Programme objectives: 

  • To maintain and improve ecosystem services through sustainable management of local and regional landscapes.
  • To build community awareness, participation, skills and knowledge in caring for their environment, including Aboriginal knowledge and participation.

Applications are now open, and close at 5pm, Friday 13 November 2015. An initial online application form is all that is required and can be accessed through the Greater Sydney Local Land Services website.
