We appreciate all of our volunteers and what they do to support Greater Sydney Landcare and environmental conservation. So we provide some great incentives to our Volunteer Leaders so you can benefit from our program as much as we benefit from your support. Not only will you experience community connection, career development, enjoy fun events/activities, you’ll also have access to great opportunities such as:

Gain FREE or subsidised certifications and training that will help you in your Volunteer Role and are  invaluable for your career. Examples include: Working with Children Check, First Aid Training and more!

No hour is left behind! All your volunteer work hours will be recorded so that we can provide signed certificates for you to add to your resume and/or employer, or just for you to hang on the wall and admire your hard work!

Being a Volunteer Leader isn’t all work and no play! Greater Sydney Landcare and Wildventure often have access to lots of partnered events such as festivals, markets, field days and more. Volunteer with us at one of these events and you’ll still get plenty of time to enjoy it for FREE while still contributing to our environmental cause.

Need work experience for Uni or TAFE? We may be able to provide you the hours and extended volunteer/internship opportunities such as working alongside our Coordinators to make that happen. Just let us know how we can help!

Ever wanted to start your own Landcare group? Or wanted to manage volunteers in environmental projects? Our Volunteer Leaders Program is designed to train the next generation of Landcarers, so that we can continue on our environmental restoration and conservation journey into the future. Becoming a Volunteer Leader is a stepping stone and perfect learning opportunity to coordinate and/or manage projects, whether it be a new Wildventure group, Landcare group or other project – the possibilities are endless!
