🌿 @spirax_sarco Returns to @carnarvongolfclub! ✨

🙂 On Mon 6 Nov 2023, Spirax Sarco corporate volunteers joined Creating Canopies at Carnarvon Golf Club for their third conservation working bee that year. 🌳

✨ The team installed 200 native plants and hopped in kayaks to remove rubbish and Alligator Weed from the course's dams. Their continued efforts are greatly appreciated. 🌿

🌱 Vive La Platypus Landcare! 🌿

🌳 On Sat 18 Nov 2023, Creating Canopies was joined by 16 Hills Shire residents to plant 225 trees and shrubs on a Land for Wildlife property in Annangrove, on Cattai Creek. 🌏

💧The volunteers also learned how to test the water quality of the creek and were invited to join the Platypus Landcare group dedicated to local platypus conservation. 🍃 Thanks Nora for volunteering your land for trees!

🌳 Do you have space on your land for native plants to create cooling canopy cover and shade? 🐦

🍃 Greater Sydney Landcare's Creating Canopies project is partnering with private landowners with space for 100 or more trees, and public landowners with space for 1,000 or more trees. ✨

💚 We'll provide you with free plants and organise a day for volunteers to come and plant them for you too. 🌱

🍃 Did you know Greater Sydney Landcare established another Birding and Bushcare group in 2023? 🌺 That’s two now, both in National Parks.

🦜 Over 100 volunteers embraced hands-on restoration, delved into bushland activities and enjoyed the great outdoors last year with these groups. 🌿
