Creating Canopies is a project to plant 200,000 native trees across Greater Sydney by the end of 2025. These plants will grow to 3 metres and above to provide cooling shade for Sydneysiders, as well as habitat for wildlife, in the years to come. We’re prioritising plantings in LGA’s of Sydney with less than 30% canopy cover to help mitigate urban heat.
