Greater Sydney Landcare is a not-for-profit, community organisation that is made up of predominantly volunteers.
We welcome volunteers with all different levels of experience, skills and abilities.
There are plenty of ways you can volunteer with us:
Plant Trees - Help us plant 200,000 trees by the end of 2025 in our Creating Canopies project
Water Monitoring - Check the health of Sydney's waterways with the Streamwatch Program
Bush Regeneration - Check out our network of bush carers and Landcare groups in Sydney to sign up
Join the Committee - Our dedicated committee of volunteers are often looking for new individuals to join
Help in our office - We are a very busy team and could benefit from an extra pair of hands in the office.
By volunteering with us you will be joining a community of passionate and committed individuals, groups, and organisations who are working together to protect, restore, and improve the natural environment of Greater Sydney.
Greater Sydney Landcare is proud to acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the Country on which we live and work. We value and respect their deep and continued spiritual and cultural connections to the land, waters and seas, and pay our respects to their Ancestors and Elders past, present and future.
