You’re invited to join Greater Sydney Landcare for its Annual General Meeting.
When: Sunday 22 October 2023, 9 am – 2 pm.
Where: Sydney Olympic Park Education Centre, Homebush Bay Drive, Sydney Olympic Park NSW 2127.
The day will include a talk by Turlough Guerin, CEO Landcare NSW, a panel discussion on Caring for Sydney’s Waterways, and a keynote address by Dr Sebastian Pfautsch, Associate Professor in Urban Management and Planning at Western Sydney University and expert on Urban Heat in Western Sydney.
The panel discussion will include Gundungurra Traditional Elder Uncle David King, Parramatta Riverkeeper Jasmine Payget, Jen Dollin of the Hawkesbury-Nepean Waterkeepers Alliance, Georges Riverkeeper Scott Reyes, and Andrew Thomas of The Cooks River Alliance.
Greater Sydney Landcare staff will also give updates on their programs including Creating Canopies, Southwest Sydney Koala Project, Streamwatch, and Cumberland Plains Restoration Program.
