Location
The Greater Sydney region takes in Sydney south to Wollondilly / Sutherland, west to the Blue Mountains, north to the Central Coast, and other areas as described by the Greater Sydney Local Land Services boundaries. Greater Sydney Landcare has an office in Castle Hill, desks in Penrith, and also supports working from home.
The Macarthur role will work flexibly between Wollondilly, Camden, Campbelltown Council offices, Wild Seed Landcare Network locations, Greater Sydney Landcare’s Castle Hill office and from home. The principal place of work will be with the Wollondilly Shire Council.
About the Positions
Regional Landcare Coordinator with Business Support – FT
The Regional Landcare Coordinator is a full-time role responsible for creating partnerships with regional and local organisations to increase awareness and raise the profile of Landcare in NSW and increase funding to facilitate projects both current and future. The business support aspect of this position will be as a major contributor to enabling Greater Sydney Landcare’s progression towards self-sufficiency.
The Regional Landcare Coordinator will work with the Local Landcare Coordinators and their host organisations, Project Managers, Landcare groups and networks and organisations in their area to support and empower them to achieve their own goals, to participate in Landcare activities, to partner with Local Land Services and to deliver on the target outcomes of the NSW Landcare Enabling Program 2023 – 2027 (LEP).

Local Landcare Coordinator – Regional Support – PT
The Local Landcare Coordinator is a part-time role responsible for providing support to and assisting with coordination of local community volunteer Landcare groups and coordinating funding program reporting. This role supports the Regional Landcare Coordinator.
The Local Landcare Coordinator (Greater Sydney support) will have a two-fold focus.
- Work with Greater Sydney Landcare and Landcare groups and networks to support and empower them to achieve their own goals, to participate in Landcare, to partner with Local Land Services, other Government agencies and community organisations to deliver on the target outcomes of the NSW Landcare Enabling Program 2023-2027 (LEP).
- Work as Regional Administration Support Officer with all Landcare Enabling Program coordinators and hosts in Greater Sydney to ensure objectives and reporting obligations of the LEP are met.

Local Landcare Coordinator – Macarthur – PT
This part-time role will focus on the Macarthur area covering Wollondilly, Camden and Campbelltown local government areas. The Local Landcare Coordinator is responsible for providing support and assistance coordinating existing and new local community volunteer Landcare groups, empowering them to meet their own goals.
The Local Landcare Coordinator will work with Greater Sydney Landcare / Wild Seed Landcare Network, local councils, Landcare groups and others to deliver the target outcomes of the NSW Landcare Enabling Program 2023-2027 (LEP) to grow and strengthen the capacity of Landcare groups to care for the local natural environment and agricultural systems.

Local Landcare Coordinator – Young Adult – FT
The Local Landcare Coordinator – Young Adult role is full-time. It is responsible for providing support to and assisting with coordination of local community volunteer Landcare groups.
The Local Landcare Coordinator (Young Adult) will focus on empowering young adult individuals and groups to participate in Landcare. This role will Develop and deliver a young adult engagement program across Greater Sydney.
