Greater Sydney Landcare is looking to hire a Creating Canopies Project Officer.

This is a full-time position to assist in organising and delivering our Creating Canopies tree planting project. The focus is on managing resources, ordering, recording, reporting and monitoring the plantings.

Experience with Quickbooks, Salesforce, Smartsheet, and Excel would be beneficial.

Appropriate Degree or Cert 3 in CLM desired. Experience with revegetation programs would also be beneficial.

Core Tasks Include:

  • Ordering all resources to meet the planting schedule.
  • Organise and supervise contractors and volunteers at community planting events.
  • Arrange contracts with landowners and contractors.
  • Enter all partnership/stakeholder details into Salesforce.
  • Track activities and progress to ensure site plans and budget are met.
  • Adhere to accounting, costing and billing requirements.
  • Financial services such as entering bills and receipts into Quickbooks, & creating invoices in Quickbooks.
  • Occasionally assisting in on-ground works such as site preparation/tree maintenance and monitoring.
  • Manage the Castle Hill office and warehouse – receive goods into stock, ensure office supplies and equipment are in stock and up-to-date.
  • Record weekly team meeting minutes.
